The Immigrants’ Assistance Center, Inc. (IAC) hosted a Christmas Party for the Portuguese Elders Social Group on Tuesday, December 20th at the IAC on the 2nd floor.
A total of about 40 Portuguese Elders attended the event. The elders sang Christmas songs from their childhood. In addition, the Portuguese Elders displayed their needle work, crafts and their art work which they did during the IAC’s art classes.
The IAC’s Poetry Group had their Poetry book entitled “Versos das Nossa Vidas” on display for purchase.
The lunch was donated by Neto’s Insurance and Castelo Real-Estate.
