The Immigrants’ Assistance Center (IAC) provides assistance and support to families of inmates who are legal, permanent residents and are facing deportation due to the severe immigration bills that were passed in 1996.
The IAC works with these families to provide social services and support during this very difficult time. A lot of these inmates are head of households, and are leaving wives and children behind.
IAC works with inmates in the Bristol County Correctional Facilities as a case manager and offers its services to Southeastern Massachusetts, predominantly in the Greater New Bedford area.
The Immigrants’ Assistance Center also offers these Deportation Support services:
- Deportee Case Management
- Family Support & Advocacy
- Integration Services
- Legal Services
If you are interested in learning more about the programs available for Deportation Support Services through the IAC, please contact us by calling 508-996-8113 or by visiting our location in New Bedford, Massachusetts. You can also Schedule an Appointment online.
