Celebrating Our Immigrant Roots

We are very excited to announce a return to our spring fundraiser gala, which this year will be Celebrating Our Immigrant Roots!  From serving our Elder Community to helping our youth, the IAC is here to assist the Greater New Bedford Community with language assistance and community programs.

WHAT ARE WE DOING?

From unaccompanied youth who need help with food and basic necessities, to families facing food insecurity and needing help with the rising costs of utilities and rent – the IAC is committed to helping those in our community who face the greatest need.

Our Elder Program has been in place since 2014, and serves a vital need for socialization, community and fun to those who helped build and raise our current community and families.  Our programs provide field trips, art programs, and a place for the community to come together to celebrate language, culture and heritage in a safe environment.  We also provide assistance with access and translations to assist with naturalization, medical needs, and increasing access to the community.

The Immigrants’ Assistance Center is hoping to expand our services and increase our capacity to serve the community as a whole!  Sign up to stay informed of the exciting new projects and programs coming to the IAC!
