The IAC works with families of inmates of the Bristol County Correctional Facilities who are facing deportation, especially when the deportee is a head of household who is relied upon by a spouse and/or children. The IAC connects inmates to legal services, and has established a collaborative protocol with the Azorean and Cape Verde governments to provide integration services to deportees.
Funding for this program comes from the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office and the Bristol County Sheriff’s Office.
